Buachaille Etive Beag

I got the chance to do something very different a few weekends back, that I've always really wanted to do. I managed to bag my first two Munro's!

I've been waiting for a decent break in the weather and finally the reports indicated a 90% chance of cloud free summits, so off to Glencoe I headed with my target being Buachaille Etive Beag the wee brother of 'The great herdsman of Etive' - Buachaille Etive Mor.

The Wee Buachaille as it's known offers the chance to climb two summits, Stob Dubh and Stob Coire Raineach and while tough going the views were spectacular! I grabbed some snapshots while at the top and was amazed at how the light and cloud constantly changed the landscape! It was a fantastic day and I think I could get hooked! 2 down - 280 to go!

I have my good friend Tony to thank for being my guide on the day and what an excellent guide he was, not that great a Sherpa mind you, he made me carry all my own gear!
