Jennifer & Gordon's Wedding @ Dumfries House, Cumnock
Jennifer and Gordon's wedding at Dumfries House a few weeks back was as close to a fairy tale wedding as I have ever seen, the venue they had selected was simply spectacular and perfectly suited this amazing couple.
On the way there while driving through Fenwick Moor it was a winter wonderland and I was glad that some snow remained around the grounds as well. Inside the Mansion house the photo opportunities were plentiful with the house faithfully restored to it's original cond...ition.
The evening reception was held on the ground floor in an annexed room and it was decorated very festively complete with tree and decorations. Jennifer, Gordon and myself met a month or so previously at the venue so we could get some snaps of their lovely wee dog Lexa as she wasn't going to be there on the day (although delighted that she did make it in miniture form onto the cake decorations 
) Dumfries House is well worth a visit to take one of the tours or simply visit the grounds and they looked after myself and the wedding party exceptionally well. For now and once again Mrs and Mrs Brown, heartfelt congratulations with wishes of health, wealth and happiness in the years to come. Hope you enjoy the mini story of your day x
