Don't panic....the team at Andrew Noble Photography don't accompany couples on Honeymoon!

This blog post is only to talk up one of the top five Honeymoon destinations for UK couples. Can you guess where it is?

Sitting at number three in the overall top five visited Honeymoon destinations is the beautiful island of.........Santorini in Greece, and it truly is stunning. Approaching by ferry from the relatively nearby Island of Naxos is a wonderful experience. It is like no other place we have seen. The ferry sails into a semi circle of Islands (one of which is a Volcano) and along the side of the exposed cliffs, where all sorts of restored cave houses, hotels and restaurants now sit. It really is a sight to see.

We were there earlier in the season on an assignment to shoot some Travel Photography shots for Stock Agencies. We did of course manage to relax, recuperate and recharge our batteries too.

There were quite a few weddings on the go, in the short time that we were on the Island and it was fun watching the local photographers do their stuff! They had some stunning backdrops and scenery to work with, however some tough obstacles to overcome also, the heat, the bright and often harsh Light, tricky camera metering and exposures (white dress against bright white buildings for example) and of course crowds and crowds of tourists. I don't think I'll be shooting any weddings in the UK dressed like my Greek colleagues any time soon though! (T-shirt, Shorts and flip flops!)
