Last week I had the absolute pleasure of sharing in Zoe and Derek's big day at the Busby Hotel. The Busby Hotel is somewhat of a local for me and having recently undergone a massive refurbishment it is very well set up to host wedding celebrations.
Everything was happening at the Hotel so I arrived nice and early to capture the bridal preparations and some images of the surroundings. Zoe and her bridesmaids were having their hair and makeup done on arrival and having a good laugh and time. I was enjoying some nice tunes via the in room Bluetooth system (courtesy of the girls phones) and teaching my new apprentice Hannah one of the Bridesmaids, the art of wedding photography. Hannah took a real interest in the photography and even insisted I got in a few! Though I seriously doubt I will make the album!!
Giving the girls some peace from the lens - I sneaked off to catch the groom and boys arriving and even managed some shots of the grooms family, making it back in good time to get some shots of Zoe looking simply stunning in her dress.
The ceremony soon started and John the proud father walked the lovely Zoe towards her hubby to be, whose eyes just simply lit up on seeing his beautiful bride for the first time.
The weather as if on command presented the perfect light for some photos in the garden area which although small provides some lovely backdrops for wedding imagery. Speeches followed, full of emotion, humour and love. Zoe gave perhaps one of the best reactions ever to 'On behalf of my wife and I' and I wonder if you can spot the picture : )
Some amazing dance moves followed the meal, by all in attendance and I hope my images captured some of the energy and fun. it's fair to say it was a fabulous day for an amazing couple and one which I was very proud to share in.
All that's left to say is a heartfelt Congratulations and best wishes to the new Mr and Mrs Jamieson x
