Welcome to my site, I hope you enjoy your visit. My name is Andrew Noble and I'm a professional wedding photographer based in the south side of Glasgow.
I thought it might be fun to share a little info about myself and my journey to wedding photography. I've been interested in photography and art for as long as I can remember. While growing up I was usually the family photographer during our holidays and family events, using my dad's little 35mm film camera. My passion really took hold though with the advent of digital. My first camera was a little 2mp Kodak, which I loved (even though it cost a fortune and was the size of a small brick!)
The cameras and lenses I use today are professional full frame Nikon cameras, light years ahead of my little Kodak, although they still have one thing in common - they still cost a fortune! As my experience and gear improved I started to appreciate and take a real interest in the weddings of family and friends. I got the chance to photograph my first wedding in 2008, which strangely enough looking back, I had absolutely no nerves about doing. I loved everything about the experience and I am still pleased with the Images I captured that day. More importantly of course so are the wedding couple!
Today I am an award winning photographer, having enjoyed images being nationally published. I am also active in professionally photographing running, cycling and swimming events each year from Newcastle to Inverness. In my downtime I disappear into the Highlands to indulge in my love of the Scottish landscape.
I enjoy the photo-journalistic style of wedding photography, meeting and working with people, travelling to new or former locations and of course taking and editing the photographs. In fact it's fair to say I enjoy all aspects of the part I play in capturing special moments of your day.
Prior to photography I was a successfully published cartoonist and have enjoyed success in many national newspapers and magazines. I've been a member of the Cartoonist's club of Great Britain for over twenty years and I continue to enjoy cartooning to this day.
